1 Application for Financial Aid, grant of Open Society Foundation -- Higher Education Support Program, London SEE University and the Open Society Foundation (OSF) London, Higher Education Support Program (HESP) provide a limited number of scholarships for students entering the University for the 2013/2014 academic year who would not be able to study at SEEU without financial support. Scholarship awards are made following an analysis of the studentsdemonstration of financial need, and then following an application of merit criteria. Merit will be assessed against the following criteria: 60% from the results achieved in the high school (marks during four years) 40% form the success of state matura and the applicant should have achieved at least 60 points in the scale 0-100. Please note that support is available for the students entering in these Faculties: 1) Faculty of Language, Culture and Communication (LCC) 2) Faculty of Public Administration and Political Science (PAPS) HESP scholarship fund is available to provide partial tuition fee and living cost support to students entering in these disciplines: Faculty of Language, Cultures and Communication / Faculty of Public Administration and Political Sciences and who have demonstrated financial need and are citizens of the Republic of Macedonia. The amounts of individual awards will depend on the financial needs of the respective students. All students are expected to make the minimum 300 EURO personal contribution toward tuition. Awards will be made to encourage both gender balance and ethnic diversity within the SEEU student community. The period of support will be for a maximum of 6 semesters. Awards are determined following on an annual application process, with extension from one semester to the next within a given year dependent upon the student remaining in good academic standing as defined by SEEU. Applicants who fall within the disciplinary and profile criteria listed above are invited to apply for scholarship support. The following application form will help the SEEU Scholarship Committee determine if you need financial support, and the amount of financial support required. Information regarding your application

Before completing this application form and attaching the necessary documents, please read the following information carefully. It is meant to

help you to submit a complete application and to assist us in evaluating it speedily but carefully and in preparing it for the SEE University –

Selection Committee. As a rule the application cannot be submitted to the donor of scholarship direct, but should be sent to the Financial Aid

Office, SEE U Campus 802. The SEE U website www.seeu.edu.mk /Financial Aid & Scholarship provide further specific information for applicants

including the exact deadline. Any incomplete application or applications handed in after the deadline cannot be taken into consideration.

A complete application consists of the application form and accompanying documents to be submitted in the original or legible copy.

The completed application form must be accompanied by the following documents in Albanian, Macedonian or English language.

1. Certificate/s that show/s the monthly net income for every employed member of family

2. Certificate/s from Bureau of Labor for the unemployed adult members of family

3. Certificate of monthly compensation issued by the Social Welfare Ministry if no one in the family is employed.

4. A copy of the most recent pension check/s for retired member/s of the family.

5. Verification of matriculation from the respective schools for other full-time pupils/students of the family

6. Copies of the court decision in case of divorced parents

7. Copies of death certificates in case of deceased parents

8. Registration documents for all vehicles owned by family members

9. Certificate from Tax Authority related to the material status of candidate and her/his parents

10. Certificate from Municipal authority related to the family status of candidate

11. Certificates of ownership for all property, i.e. home, apartments, land
