1.Introduction

• 「读读日报」 is the version 3.0 product of 「知乎日报」 .

• Its slogan is 「人人都能当主编」According to 「读读日报」 ,everyone can be an editor .So they mainly aim to bulid a content platform through encouraging people to create their “daily newspaper”.

Besides,a variety of high-quality articles came from 「知乎」 or other sharing hyperlinks are provided to read.

1.Introduction

• target audience: • editor: those who want to bulid their online“daily

newspaper” and share the online articles they recommend .Also,you can invite other editors to corporate with you.

• reader: those who want to read the high-quality articles from zhihu or famous online columnists.They can subscribe to various “daily newspaper” they like.

2.Feature

a. create your own “daily newspaper”• You can create your online newspaper after inputing your online

daily newspaper's name and introduction.

• After that,you can share everything that has a hyperlink,including articles,music,pictures,videos,and H5.

• As the chief editor yourself,you should think how to operate it properly through accumalating readers and interacting with them.

2.Featureb. read interesting newspapers• You can subscribe to any columns you like on the 「 发 现 」 Tab.The

'newspaper' provided is various and appealing,like

movies,design,company,financial,internet,music,sports,etc.

• Also, users can search any other 'newspapers' or users they like.By subscribing to it,you can read their updates on the 「首页」 Tab .

c. simple visual design• The interface adopts white and

blue,making the whole structure very clear .

• The interaction is convenient with four buttons at the bottom of the page.

• low efficiency of page turning Compared to the older version,that is 「知乎日报」 (figure on the left), 「读读日报」 can only present three articles on the first page but seven on 「知乎日报」 .

• creating newspaper's feature declines the quality of articles

Everything has two sides,so as the main feature of 「读读日报」 .

With more and more people creating their own online newspaper,the quality of artciles must be declined.However,on the older version( 「 知 乎 日 报 」 ),articles are only recommended by zhihu,and are selected from the excellent topics.

3. My Thoughts

a. It gives everyone a platform to create their own media,just like a blog.People here are sharing their favourite articles' , pictures' , videos' hyperlinks in a specified field and giving their comments ,which contributes to promoting the multi-culture of Internet.There are two modules under the 「 发 现 」 tag ： 「 popular daily newspapers 」 and 「 popular articles 」 .The former recommends the “ 大 V” while the latter exposes the new users who produce high-quality

content.This gives everyone an equal opportunity to become a “ 大 V”.

b. Nowadays people are paying more and more attention to

content and knowledge and they are willing to pay for it.So

many companies want to bulid a platform which attracts many

writers.Writers are looking for a platform to sell their

knowledge.I think 「读读日报」 concentrates on

dissemenating channel while 「知乎」 focuses on content

itself,then their company can intergrate this two platform to

make the best use of content and knowledge.I think it is a good

business strategy to make gains.
