100MW FORVERACRUZ, MEXICO

A large Mexican utility faced

a significant shortfall in power and

required an immediate, turnkey solution.

APR Energy performed site surveys, all

site preparation and civil work in five

days. With the support of local labor,APR Energy erected 23 gas turbine gen-

erating sets, developed the complete

fuel system and was also responsible for

a customized electrical interconnection.

APR Energy provided

all operation and maintenance services

throughout the term of the contract

to ensurea reliable supply of high quali-

ty electricity.

90MW FOR PEAKINGIN COSTA RICA

I.C.E, the national electrical utility in

Costa Rica, contracted APR Energy for

the fast track supply of a turnkey power

solution to be operational for an initial

period of 18 months. The power plant

was based upon multiple diesel power

modules coupled with step-up transform-

ers to supply electricity

at 34.5kV.The installation also included

the entire fuel system, fuel storage tanks

and a complex control and monitoring

system. APR Energy provided compre-

hensive support services,

to ensure ongoing, efficient operation.

40MW INMWANZA, TANZANIA

The National Electrical Utility

of Tanzania required a 40MW

fast-track solution to be located

in Mwanza. Due to the low rainfall

and dependence on hydro power

in this region, the customer sought

a temporary solution to ensure the

reliable supply of electricity. APR

Energy mobilized and delivered

the diesel fired power solution in

two, 20MW phases. Phase one

was air freighted and operational

in only 20 days. APR Energy was respon-

sible for all ongoing operation

and maintenance throughout

the12-month contract.

60MW FORCEYLON (SRI LANKA)ELECTRICITY BOARD

The initial 20MW phase of this

fast-track project was located in

Jaffna (Northern Sri Lanka) with

an additional 40MW later being

installed at a second location close

to Colombo. Both sites were 33kV

and completed on a full turnkey basis

with APR Energy taking full responsibility

for the electrical interconnection to the

grid, as well as the complete fuel

system and on site fuel storage.

APR Energy provided full operational

support and comprehensively trained

many local employees in dieselengine maintenance.
