Conduct StickEveryone starts on blue.

Your clip will be moved to yellow after your second offense. You will owe 5 mins of recess and your planner will be signed.

Your clip will be moved to RED after your third offense. You will owe ALL of your recess, and your planner will be signed. If your conduct does not improve, a phone call to your parents will be made and a possible office referral will be written.

• Not having your homework will result in having your planner signed and a seat in study hall.

Late Work PolicyStudents shall be assessed a penalty of 10 points per day for up to three days for work not turned in on time. Extenuating circumstances will be given consideration, and exceptions will require approval of the campus principal or designee. Late work turned in after three days will be assessed a maximum 30 point deduction. If the work is not turned in before the last day of the six-weeks grading period, a grade of zero will be assigned. An assignment is considered late if it is not turned in the day after it is assigned. If an assignment is not turned in, I will note it in their folder. Please check the students planner AND folder everyday for homework assignments. Every late homework assignment results in a mark on conduct WSH #2, and students will be required to complete the homework during study hall.

Absent WorkWhen you are absent, a While You Were Out form will be placed on your desk. This form will have written on it all the assignments missed from the day of the absence. Also, any worksheet that was handed out on the day you missed will be attached to the While You Were Out form. This work will not be counted late, so long as it is turned in on the make-up due date. For every day that you are absent you have that many days to complete the make-up work. If the work is not turned in on the make-up day, it will be treated as late work.

Homework1. We will assign students minimal homework over concepts they have already worked on in class. Students should feel a great sense of success while doing their work at home because they have shown success on similar problems/assignments in class.2. The majority of homework will be assigned each Monday. There may be times when other work may be assigned during the week.3. Homework will not only be written on the board, but also in the student planners and on our websites. Please check our websites for additional resources regarding homework.4. You will need to keep your daily homework inside your folder and return this to class on a daily basis. We may be checking homework from the night before, or doing an activity with the last night’s work and you will need to have it to be prepared for class.

You will start with 5 minutes of PAT time in both Mrs. Embry’s class and my class, for a total

of 10 minutes. You can gain PAT time by being responsible and ready to learn by

having all your supplies, and by completing procedures and instructions correctly the first

time. You can also lose time for not being prepared or following
