Automatic Material LoadingThe operator places the new

material onto the loadingconveyor and notifies the

controller that the material isready. After completion of theprevious material, thecontroller automaticallypulls the next length ofmaterial across onto therollers where it is thenfed into the cutting areafor measurement andprocessing.

Out-feed rollers and cross feed An integrated out-feed rollerconveyor system is provided toassist with unloading finished parts.Rollers feed the material out of the

machine and it is then pulledsideways onto the unloading area.1.5mtr spacing on first three cross-feeds caters for smaller parts.

High torque servo drivesThe Metaltek XB series comes withhigh torque AC servomotors coupledto precision zero backlashgearheads.

allows the operator to control the in-feed and out-feed conveyors fromanywhere on the factory floor.The pendant also allows remotestopping of cutting processes aswell as many other functions.

Integrated material handling. The material handling system combines both cross-feed chain conveyors andn

servo driven position controlled roller conveyors. Material is loaded onto the in-feed system by the operator where itis fully processed and rolled out of the out-feed system automatically. All conveyor functions are controlled by the

CNC controller.Manual override is available for operator control of conveyors





On-site training is provided as an

standard feature. Step by step instructionis given on drawing parts, tool path andnesting, and machine operation. Optional

extended training is also available onrequest for existing or new operators. Thisensures that you always have qualifiedoperators on hand.

o ART Factory based training is alsoavailable in a classroom style setting at the

ART factory. This is often a favourableoption because students are not interruptedduring training. This results in a betterlearning experience and can be done priorto machine delivery. As this can be a morecost effective option it is also good for

updating existing operator skills or trainingnew staff.
