Pick up at Palatine Clubhouse, Bennekerry at 9.3am, Askea Church Car Park at 9.45am and Castle Dermot at 10am then up to Green Isle for Tea / Coffee and scones and on to the GPO Museum for tour for about 2 hours and forty five minutes, then some retail Therapy. Coach picks up outside Gresham Hotel at 3.50pm and on to the West Wicklow Hotel, Blessington for our evening meal, raffle and entertainment. Meal served at 5pm. NATIONAL HERITAGE WEEK 2016 Heritage Week
2016 will run from Sat 20th to Sun 28th of August incl. People and Place: 100 Years of Heritage, has been adopted as the theme this year. Carlow Co. Co will, similar to previous years, promote collectively the many Heritage Week events taking place in the county. New groups participating are always welcome. Heritage Week is a great opportunity to show off your area by undertaking a walk, talk, display, lecture, storytelling, demonstration, re-enactment or an exhibition. Why not undertake even one event in your area! Carers Week 2016 Events in Carlow and Kilkenny Family Carers Ireland provide supports and services for Family Carers caring for children, adults or older people with an illness or disability. We are a national organisation founded and run by Family Carers. Every year in June all over Ireland Family Carers celebrate National Carers Week.
