NEWSLETTER - AUTUMN 2015 AUTUMN DINNER DANCE FRIDAY 23 OCTOBER 2015 Cava Reception commences at 7.00pm Dinner will be served at 7.30pm Music for Dancing by Mike Ward Dress Code: Dinner Jacket, Lounge Suit or Jacket and Tie DANCE CAFÉ TOSCAMAR Following our last two successful functions we are again hosting our annual Autumn Event at the venue of the Dance Café Toscamar. It is situated on the Cabo de la Nao road on the left hand side, just 150 metres past the International College. The entrance is down the steps next to the diving school. Parking is on the main road outside the complex. Alternatively 100 metres further up the road you can enter the Residencia Toscamar on the left, park at the back of the restaurant and enter through the rear entrance. STARTERS (no choice necessary) Starters served on large dishes in the middle of each table consisting of: Pan and Ali Oli Serrano Ham and Manchego Cheese Plate Mixed Salad Mixed Croquets Fish Fritura (hot assorted small fish) Sorbet MAIN COURSE (choose from): Oven Baked Lamb on the Bone Grilled Salmon with dill sauce Chicken Breast with Mushroom Sauce Spanish Style Stewed Pork Ribs with Sauce Vegetarian Lasagne All served with fresh vegetables and potatoes DESSERT Fruit Salad with Vanilla Ice Cream ½ bottle of White, Red or Rosado Wine, (or two small Beers) Water and Coffee, Price for Members €25 Price for Guests €28 A separate email reservation form will be sent to you shortly for your completion and return to our Membership Secretary - [email protected] QUEEN ELIZABETH II BIRTHDAY LUNCHEON Held at the La Galera Restaurant, Javea on 13 June 2015 Branch Chairman, Bob Hunt, MBE opened the event welcoming 84 Society Members and their guests to an al-fresco lunch on 13 June 2015 in celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Birthday. The event was enjoyed by all who attended, which included various local groups, the Rotary Fellowship, the RAF Association, the Costa Blanca Wine Appreciation Society and the 41 Club, Javea Branch The Saturday afternoon was blessed with clear skies and warm sunshine. The restaurant, which is one of the Society´s regular venues, again provided an excellent meal held in lovely surround- ings, appropriately decorated with the flags of St George. A very successful raffle was organised by the committee which raised the sum of €395 for Society Funds, the prizes being provided by members of the committee.

QUEEN ELIZABETH II BIRTHDAY LUNCHEON

Held at the La Galera Restaurant, Javea on 13 June 2015

Branch Chairman, Bob Hunt, MBE opened the event welcoming 84 Society Members and their guests to an al-fresco lunch on 13 June 2015 in celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Birthday.

The event was enjoyed by all who attended, which included various local groups, the Rotary Fellowship, the RAF Association, the Costa Blanca Wine Appreciation Society and the 41 Club, Javea Branch

The Saturday afternoon was blessed with clear skies and warm sunshine. The restaurant, which is one of the Society´s regular venues, again provided an excellent meal held in lovely surround-ings, appropriately decorated with the flags of St George.

A very successful raffle was organised by the committee which raised the sum of €395 for Society Funds, the prizes being provided by members of the committee.
