Bellevue Girls Basketball Club Tryouts

The Nebraska Game and Parks Department requires that all youth in the state of Nebraska complete a Hunter Safety Certification. Students must be 11 years of age to be tested and certified. Please register online at outdoornebraska.gov.

BPS Lied Activity Center Saturday August 22, 2015

The largest indoor yoga class in Bellevue! 9:00 – 11:00 am

The BPS Lied Activity Center and Fit In the City are partnering together to bring you the largest indoor yoga class in Bellevue for a fundraising event August 22, 2015. Vicki, a certified fitness instructor will be leading the class. Vicki has over 15 years teaching experience in Fusion, Body Fit and Aquatic classes. Vicki is also a certified 200 YTT Yoga and Pilates instructor with 13 plus years of experience. A portion of the proceeds will go to the BPS Lied Activity Center Scholarship Fund that offers financial help to kids in need for their participation in youth sports programs. This is your chance to help a young athlete and have fun while doing it.

Give your child a head start in competitive swimming today by enrolling in our Stroke Clinic. This stroke Clinic is designed for students who already have a solid foundation of the fundamentals of swimming and desire to learn more advanced swimming techniques. The classes put emphasis on proper technique over speed. Students will enhance their competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly) with drills taught by our experienced instructors.

In order to participate, students must meet 2 of the 3 following criteria:• Must be able to swim 50 yards freestyle with rotary breathing continuously,

without assistance• Must be currently or previously enrolled in Level 5 or 6 swimming lessons• Must be 11+ years old

BPS Lied Activity Center 3v3 Soccer TournamentCost: $150 per team, Round Robin Style, Play AT LEAST 7 games.

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Date: September 12th & 13th

Team Registration: Teams will register based in grade levels (3-4, 5-6). All players must be listed on their teams’ roster before the tournament begins. Six is the maximum number of players on each team’s roster. Three field players and three substitutes are allowed for each game. Join the cheer and dance teams on the sideline as they cheer on the Varsity football team.

BELLEVUE WEST COLOR GUARD TWIRL & DANCE GUARD CLINIC INFORMATION

Bellevue West has an outstanding Marching Band and Color Guard! They compete locally, regionally and nationally, taking top honors in major competitions across the Midwest!

The team is looking forward to teaching twirling and dance technique and choreography to grade K-8 students. The clinic will culminate in an opportunity for the participants to perform at PREGAME for their family and fans. Please note this is also Homecoming! Stay to cheer on the Thunderbird Football team and see part of the show that the Marching Band and Color Guard will perform at competitions this season!

Bellevue West Little T-Bird Cheerleading Clinic

We are now accepting registration for the Little T-Bird Cheerleading Clinic, which will be on Friday, September 18th, 2015 from 4:30-6:30pm at Bellevue West High School. This is a fun day for elementary students to learn about cheerleading and to cheer on the Thunderbirds. All participants will receive the opportunity to cheer on the sidelines for the first half of the Bellevue West Homecoming Football Game that evening beginning at 6:30pm and lasting until the end of the first half. The cost is $30 per cheerleader and includes the cheer clinic and football game, a t-shirt, a pair of pom poms, drink, and a slice of pizza. To sign up, cut off and mail in the bottom registration form and a check payable to “Bellevue West” by Monday, September 4th. Please retain this top portion for your records.
