C--------D ----------B------- A(occupant) A= Planet in the prime house B=Planet in the star of “A” C= Planet in the sub of “B” D=The star lord of “C” Hence C and B are the primary significators and A is the secondary significator. iii) Look for the Planet who is in the Star of ‘ B ” who is in the star of “ A ” the occupant.

“BACKWARD THEORY” . This is more useful in selecting the strongest significators. We have to look into all the points given below.

For example, A is the Planet the Occupant of a House:

STEP 1:

IF THERE IS A PLANET ( B ) IN THE STAR OF THE OCCUPANT ( A) IN THE REQUIRED HOUSE:

Normally we take the Planet who is in the star of the Occupant of a House. Eg.,

i) Take the Planet (B) in the star of the Occupant (A):

B--- A---E---F

A= Planet is the occupant of the prime houseB=Planet in the star of “A”E= the sub of the BF=the starlord of the E

ii) Look for the Planet who is in the Sub of ‘B” who is in the star of “A” the occupant.

C--------D ----------B-------A(occupant)A= Planet in the prime houseB=Planet in the star of “A”C= Planet in the sub of “B”D=The star lord of “C”

Hence C and B are the primary significators and A is the secondary significator.

iii) Look for the Planet who is in the Star of ‘B” who is in the star of “A” the occupant.

iv) Look at the Planet (Z) who is in the sub of “X” who is in the star of “B” who is in the star of “A” the occupant.

X--------B-------A(occupant)

Z -----Y -----X

A= Planet in the prime houseB= Planet in the star of “A”

Page 2: Backward Theory-By ADITH KASINATH Sir

X= planet in the star of “B” Z = the planet in the sub of “X”

Take both X and Z are the significators.

STEP II:IF THERE IS NO PLANET IN THE SUB OF THE PLANET (B) WHO IS IN THE STAR OF OCCUPANT (A):

Take B and A are the significators.

STEP III:IF THERE IS NO PLANET IN THE STAR OF THE OCCUPANT (“A”):

Look for any planets (G) in the sub of that occupant (A) and take them.

Take the G and A are the .significators

STEP IV:IF THERE IS NO PLANET IN BOTH THE STAR AND SUB OF THE OCCUPANT:

Take the Occupant (A) Planet itself as a strong significator

STEP V:IF NO PLANET IS OCCUPIED IN THE HOUSE :

We have to treat THE OWNER OF THE HOUSE AS THE SIGNFICATOR AND FOLLOW THE ABOVE IN RESPECT TO ALL POINTS.

We have to look at the following for the strength of the significators

a) Look at the strength of the each level( planet, its star and its sub) by its occupation, lordship, its star level and sublevel significations, any planet in its star, conjunction to planet or cusps, Aspects etc.,)

b) The cumulative strength and weakness of each significatorc) We have to give importance to Nodes (the “Multi faced Weapons”). d) The Karaka Planet even with secondary signification level should be given

importance.

By taking all the above points into consideration, we have to arrive at the strongest and weakest significators.

The above (THE BACKWARD THEORY) are all my humble opinion with my little knowledge and experience which may need further research also.
