Insight: BodyGuardz knew that the quality of their product was the number one driver of

purchase. Reviews of the product’s quality made consumers comfortable with their claims and performance and was the second reason why consumer bought their product.

Action: BodyGuardz used another provider to collect reviews on their site. It did not have

much impact as eCommerce was a small percentage of overall sales and they were unable to share reviews beyond the site. By adding Conversations, BodyGuardz was able to syndicate content to their retail partners.

Results: By syndicating content, BodyGuardz was able to show that they were supporting

their retail partner’s success to further the relationship. In addition, BodyGuardz is able to pull review information that states that store associates recommend their product and use this in channel negotiations to protect and gain placement. In fact, with this information, BodyGuardz was able to perform an online test with a major retailer, which if successful, will lead to in-store placement.
