Dear Parents and Carers,

Autumn is truly here! Friends of Bearpark Primary School are hosting a

Halloween Disco after school from 3.20pm – 5.00pm. Children can buy sweets

and drinks at the disco. Date: Monday 31st October.

Christmas Panto, Jack and the Beanstalk on Tuesday 29th November!

Bulb Planting with Durham City Homes.

Children from each year group supported

Class 1 in planting 3000 bulbs on Taylor

Avenue. We had a delightful time and

look forward to the blooms brightening

up our neighbourhood.

Homework - Reminder

KS1 – Reading and timestables to be shared each day. Spelling list and activity each week. After half term, a maths activity will be added.

KS2 – Reading and spellings to be shared each

day please with weekly homework to be

selected from the ‘Homework Menu’ each

week. Please ask if you would like us to discuss

this with you.

To help to offset the considerable cost of

transport and tickets, we will need to ask for a

contribution for each child of £6.00. All of our

children including nursery are invited. We leave

school at 12.45pm and return by 4.15pm.
