For the last couple of weeks, we have been making up a class dance to the pop song ‘Timber’. We were inspired by the ‘Just Dance’ version which helped us come up with some of the moves. We practised on the field first and made sure that the moves weren’t too tricky to follow for everyone in the class then taught them to others. When we do Dance, I feel lively, energised and it’s really fun because you get to see all of your class doing the exact same thing as you and I’m enjoying getting the chance to lead and teach my dance technique while they follow!Erin 5ZM Yesterday in English we watched an amazing animation short film about some giraffes high diving into an Olympic swimming pool. We had to write our own sports commentary about the event as if we were commentators trying to excite the audience. Dear parents and carers, This week has been a little less summery than the lovely sunshine we have become very used to. It is pleasing to see children coming into school with coats so that we can still get outside for playtimes and to enhance our learning. Thank you for your support.

From the classroom Malvern Vale Oak tongue twisters! This morning I visited the doorway of Mrs Birch and Mrs Cole’s ‘Reception bubble’, to be treated by the children who stood up and performed their tongue twisters which they had rehearsed at home. They were brilliantly confident and clear in their presentation- well done children!

Miss Shaw’s key worker group. ‘For the last couple of weeks, we have been making up a class dance to the pop song ‘Timber’.
