Who is a First Responder?
The individual who arrives first on the scene of a hazardous materials incident
with the responsibility to ACT.
For our purposes, first responders are
emergency response personnel, NOT members of the public, who may arrive on
the scene first.

Enter into MOA with other departments, bureaus, agencies, offices and corporations of the government, as well as private institutions, in order to define areas of cooperation and coordination and delineate responsibility on fire prevention education, fire safety, fire prevention, fire suppression and other matters of common concern
Inspect at reasonable time, any building, structure, installation or premises for dangerous or hazardous conditions or materials
Require the building owner/occupant to submit plans and specifications, and other pertinent documents of said building
Under the IFC; Scope: the prevention, control and mitigation of the dangerous condition of hazardous materials being stored, used and handled.
