BIKE AND TRUFFLE HUNT IN MUGELLO VALLEY

The tour will begin with a scenic bike ride through the Mugello Valley. This countryside is quintessentially Tuscan with rolling hills, lines of cypresses along dirt roads and ancient churches, monasteries and castles scattered along its iconic landscape. After one hour cycling, arrive at a typical Tuscan Agriturismo. Here, you will participate in an exciting truffle hunt, guided by a truffle expert and by nose of his faithful companion. With truffles in hand arrive to a beautiful farmhouse in Mugello where upon arrival, enjoy a delicious aperitif and three-course lunch. Transfer back to Montecatini Terme in the early evening.

Schedule: 09:15: You will be picked up from Teatro Verdi in Montecatini Terme and transferred to Borgo San Lorenzo 10:00: Begin bike tour 11:15: Arrive to a quaint farmhouse to meet your truffle hunter and his dog 11:30- 12:45: Listen to a short briefing about truffles and begin your hunt 13:00 – 14:00: Arrive back to the farmhouse for lunch 14:00 – 15:00: Bike back to Borgo San Lorenzo arriving to Montecatini Terme approximately one hour later.
