mTN INTErNETCONNECTIvITyMTN has finished the construction work that included the lifting of pavement areas, digging trenches and laying pipes. The contractors will now start to pull through the fibre lines and thereafter the testing of the lines will begin. The contractor’s container will be on the visitors parking area until the end of this project. The project will be finished by 15 September 2016 if there are no unforeseen obstacles. All residents can then register for the Fibre to the Home (FTTH) Services.

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the workmanship, please report all matters to the MTN Call Centre on: 083 123 5360. All matters are followed up by the Huawei Community Liaison Officers. The Call Centre can also assist you with any product and service enquiry.

Here are some tips to keep your gardens healthy in the heat of August.
1. Pull weeds as soon as you notice them, before they go to seed in the garden. This will help reduce overwintering weeds that can wreak havoc next year.
2. Remove spent flowers (deadhead) on annuals, roses and perennials. Many will reward you with more blooms that continue well into fall.
3. Prune and remove dead branches on shrubs and small trees.
4. Keep new plantings (planted within the past six months) of flowers, shrubs and trees watered during hot, dry spells.
5. Have your soil tested. A simple soil test can help you determine which nutrients may be lacking and what you need to add (according to what you are growing) in the way of amendments to ensure your plants will thrive.
