More than 18 thousand toys were distributed by APROQUEN-CLARO's Christmas Caravan

The kids from Corn Island welcomed with joy and great surprise, APROQUEN-CLARO's Christmas Caravan, which made it all the way to the atlantic coast of our country this past January 6th, place where the caravan's december 2011 route ended, visiting 45 hospitals all over the country. More than 18,700 toys were given away. Special gifts were also given to hospitalized mothers waiting to give birth or who recently gave birth. A special moment took place on December 12 when the Caravan initiated at the Burn Unit since more than 350 kids received the sponsors that made possible this event who also formed part during the toy give away. This Christmas party in all the regions was made possible thanks to: BAC CREDOMATIC NETWORK, CLARO, GRUPO CESAR GUERRERO, VIAJES AMERICA, TINKY TOYS, FLOR DE CAÑA, WAJIRA, BURGER KING, LA COSTEÑA Y COMPAÑIA CERVECERA DE NICARAGUA.

This past January 6, day of the three biblical kings, the kids from the Burn Unit received the pleasant visit of Mr. Jorge Latorre, businessman of Argentinian origin established in the US and sponsor of APROQUEN. Mr. Latorre and his wife, Cristina, besides sponsoring a group of small patients, traveled to Nicaragua to personally turn in toys to all the young children that receive them. Aproquen greatly appreciates this noble and special gesture on behalf of Mr. Latorre and his wife.
