WSCS Seventh Grade Book Jacket Book Report For this book report, you will design a book jacket that creatively tells about the book you have just read. WSCS Seventh Grade Book Jacket Book Report

For this book report, you will design a book jacket that creatively tells about the book you have just read. Follow the directions below to complete the jacket and be ready to present it in class. How to Make a Book Jacket:1. Use a sheet of 12” x 18” construction paper (or paper about that size) in a

Putting It All TogetherFront Cover: Design a cover for your book jacket that includes the title of the book, theauthor’s name, the illustrator’s name (your name), any awards the book has won, and a detailed, color drawing. PLEASE DO NOT COPY A PICTURE FROM YOUR BOOK! This must be your own hand-drawn or computer-designed artwork. You can illustrate an important scene from the book or draw symbols that are important to the book.

Back Cover: On the back cover write a description of the setting and a summary of the events in the book. Remember, the summary states the facts, not what you thought about the book . This should be a three-paragraph synopsis of the main events of the book.

Inside Front Flap: Write a detailed description of the main character of the book. Include details about the character’s physical, mental, and personality traits.

Inside Back Flap: Write down the reasons why you liked the book. Research and write down what others have said about the book. You can include actuals reviews from websites such as Amazon.com or even quote friends who have read the book. Try to sell others on reading this book.
