Breeze FestivalManagement TeamHello, we are the Breeze Festival Management Team and we’re a dedicated group of young people between the ages of 13–19 years. We have spent the last eight months being involved in choosing acts for the festival as well as arranging the festival itself. We have contributed to the design of the brochure and redesigning the artzone and at the same time working on our marketing and design skills.

But it’s not been all work and no play! We have also attended the AMP awards to select a band to play on Briggate and been to the Young People’s Film Festival.

Talk to us during the festival if you have questions or want to know how to be involved next year.

Festival information and ticketsFull details of all our festival events and workshops can be found at our websiteThis Brochure is available in large print and audio, Braille and a range of community languages by calling 0113 247 6419.All event details are correct at time of going to print. Access to venues will vary, please contact the venues direct for further information. 3

Welcome to the 2012Breeze International Youth Festival!Breeze International Youth Festival (BIYF) is a 12 day arts festival in Leeds, packed full of events for 13–19 year olds celebrating the creativity of young people across the city.

Activities take place across the city including an open air stage on Briggate, performance in Kirkstall Abbey, art in the White Rose Centre, comedy in the Town Hall and many activities in other venues. We are also pleased to announce a new photography project with young people from Louisville, USA (one of Leeds’ twinned cities).

The festival, with its many partners, is proud to commission and present new work by young people for young people.

Tell us what you think and what you would like to see more of next year. See our website for more information on the performances and activities at www.breezeleeds.org/biyf

BIYF is all about taking part so we look forward to enjoying the festival with you.
