2013 Terp Thon results broke records.

♦ Terp Thon begins its awareness efforts every fall semester

♦ In the spring, students can register for Terp Thon and begin fundraising

♦ Each student must raise at least $100 in donations to participate in the dance marathon in March

♦ Students stand for 12 hours at the dance marathon to represent nurses’ long shifts at hospitals

♦ At the event, the total funds raised are revealed to show off the year’s accomplishments

12-hour dance-a-thon.

Q: How do I raise my $100?A: Most students raise their money online, through accounts like PayPal.

Q: Where does the money go?A: 100 percent of funds Terp Thon raises goes directly to Children’s National Medical Center, a local non-profit pediatric hospital.
