CAPABILITIES

The RADAR-100S6 is differentiated from moreconventional radars by its unique mix of processingcapabilities layered together to provide superior radarimagery, noise and clutter reduction and target tracking.

Flexibility for Optimal Performance The RADAR-100S6 can use a wired or wireless link toprovide remote access and enable radar images to beviewed and manipulated by operators and techniciansat different locations. Through its flexible design,multiple RADAR-100S6 radars and multiple radardisplays can be connected via Ethernet to allow anydisplay to view any radar on the network. This providesa truly flexible approach to radar configuration.

Multiple Target Tracking With a tracking capability of up to 1000 targets, theSigma S6 Dual-Mode Tracker can simultaneously detectand track very small slow-speed targets and high-speedtargets by optimizing plot extraction signal processingon separate channels, thereby providing uncompromisedtarget detection and tracking.

AIS OverlayThe optional AIS Overlay module provides AIS targetsoverlayed on the radar image and provides a full AISinformational display. The AIS Overlay module providesradar track and AIS target association for a cleareroperational picture.

Advanced Radar RecordingThe optional Sigma S6 radar recording provides for fulldynamic range and full-resolution recording capability.The Sigma S6 digital recorder may be used to capturereal incidents and isolate best practices for training andsimulation exercises or post incident investigation analysis.

Radar FusionThe optional SeaBridge software module allows thefusion of radar data from multiple radars to be displayedin a single radar image. This allows the use of multipleradars to fill the 360° coverage area that may otherwisebe blocked by ship's or platform's superstructure. Targettracking is also calculated from this fused radar imageand is also available on the radar network and viewableat any RADAR-100S6 radar display station.
