Programme Content

Module 1 – Five day praccal training on core mediator competency(40 hours)This intensive programme involves workplace mediaon’s core competencies; planning and organisaon, process management, communicaon skills, facilitaon and creave problem solving. Uniquely, ADR Group‘s Workplace Mediator Training Programme offers, alongside the core subject areas, specialist instrucon in psychology.

DeleDelegates will be involved in role-play mediaon sessions, group discussions and praccal exercises in order to pracce the skills being learned.

Delegate assessment will be conducted throughout the course and will conclude with a final video recorded assessment of a role-play on day 5 in which delegates will be required to demonstrate the praccal applicaon of skills and core mediator competencies. The video recording will be retained for external moderaon.

Module 2 – Wrien assessmentDeleDelegates are also required to produce an assessed wrien assignment, relang to what you have learned and how it can be applied in your organisaon or area of experse.

Course prerequisitesADR Group’s Workplace Mediator Training Programme is designed for individuals affiliated with a professional body.

InIn order to fully engage in the role-play aspect of the course parcipants require a strong command of the English language. If you have any concerns in this regard, please call us to discuss further prior to booking.

There are no other parcular course pre-requisites other than a willingness to engage in shared learning through role-plays and interacve exercises. Knowledge of employment law is not essenal.

Connuing Professional Development (CPD)AAendance of ADR Group’s Workplace Mediator Training Programme accrues 40 hours SRA CPD and 33 hours BSB CPD.
