All Brookland students will have the opportunity to take three years of language study
7th and 8th grade students will take one modern language course, equivalent to .5 credits each year, for a total of one year of high school credit^
6th graders will take exploratory courses, including Latin and a modern language, to build a foundation in language study
Language offerings have not yet been determined – DCPS will gather planning principal, parent, and community input when making this decision
