NOTES FOR THE CONTRACTOR:
This quantified framework has been produced as an aid to contractors in the production oforder of cost/budget estimates.
When completed by the contractor the document will assist in the setting of a realistic budget or cost limit and as a platform for further negotiation.
This document is not a Bill of Quantities; the quantities have not been measured inaccordance with the Standard Method of Measurement or the New Rules ofMeasurement. The quantities are approximate.
We have assumed that the existing roof will be retained and modified in placesrather than be completely or partially removed to facilitate the works. The structural engineer and contractor must determine whether which approach is mostpractical and cost effective.
This document is available as an XL file. The file is not locked or security restricted. We recommend that the Contractor checks all formulae within the XL file before submitting abudget as editting the document may affect the original formulae.
