The Cream City Med-ical Society (CCMS)held it’s 90th anniver-sary gala recently at theItalian Conference Cen-ter. The organization’stheme, “Old Bricks,New Bridges” was onfull display as the or-ganization honored thepast, present and futureof medicine and thosewho practice it in ourcommunity. Two of the honoreeswere Dr. Roland Pattilloand his wife, MCJ Pub-lisher Patricia O’FlynnPattillo. Dr. Pattillo, whowas also the event’skeynote speaker, wasawarded one of theCCMS’ LifetimeAchievement Awardsfor his research workthat led to new treat-ment for ovarian can-cer. Mrs. Pattilloreceived the Humani-tarian Award for herwork, through the Dr.Terence N.
