2015 Power of Heels Bazaar a Big Success

HOLIDAY BAZAAR

With over 1000 shoppers and 60+ ven-dor booths to shop, the 2015 Power of Heels Burleson Holiday Bazaar was a huge suc-cess! Held at The Academy at Nola Dunn for its 3rd consecutive year, shoppers strolled through the gymnasium, cafeteria, entry foyer and hallways shopping for women and children's apparel, home décor, holiday gifts, children's gifts and more! The 2015 Burleson Holiday Bazaar was presented by our Santa (Title) Sponsors Kris Brown Chevrolet Buick GMC and Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth.

One of the biggest draws of the day was Old St. Nick himself, where children (and a

few adults) could have their photos made for free, thanks to Couch and Russell Financial Group. Shoppers also enjoyed a visit with Sugar Lump the Clown, also known as Caro-lyn Kerr, who provided children with balloon animals, stickers and lots of clown fun. En-tertainment was provided throughout the day by local school choirs, dance, gymnastic and karate studio. Three food trucks pro-vided lunch refreshments for shoppers and vendors throughout the day as well as Steel City Pops and a Kettle Corn vendor brewing up fresh popcorn on the spot.

“The 2015 Holiday Bazaar has defi nitely been our best yet,” said Marketing and Com-

munications Director and Power of Heels Liaison, Ellen Larimore. “The long hours worked by the Power of Heels committee paid off with a successful, well-attended Hol-iday Bazaar. I’m excited to see what the 2016 Burleson Holiday Bazaar has in store!”

Next year’s Holiday Bazaar will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2016. For more information about participating in the 2016 Burleson Holiday Bazaar or being a part of the Power of Heels (the women’s division of the Chamber), visit our website or call Ellen Larimore, Director of Marketing and Com-munications for the Burleson Chamber at 817-295-6121.
