Location of Growth
• The Lakes• Precinct 1- Park Road 4, Tobeyville and The
Lakes• Precinct 2- Scattered• Precinct 3- Whitewater Springs, Rio Ancho and
along CR 330 and Hwy 29• Precinct 4- Double Horn and along the lake
• Building permit numbers indicate Burnet County unincorporated areas should increase by 130 dwellings in 2010
• Construction cost estimates indicate near $20 million in new construction for 2010
• Nearly 6 to 1 site built homes compared to manufactured homes (63 site built vs. 11 MH) with 6 commercial sites
Outlook for 2011
• There are have several developments in the planning stage (2 in precinct 4 and 1 in precinct 1)
• Multiple inquires on proposed home sites along the lakes
• Cautiously Optomistic!
