Step 1: Enter the data.

Step 2: Type “Average” or “Mean,” and click on the box where you want the statistic to appear.

Step 3: Click on the “Formulas” tab. Select “More Functions.” Go to the “Statistical” Menu, and choose “AVERAGE.”

Rounding to the Nearest Whole

If you need to round to the nearest whole, click on the cell, right click, and select “Format Cells.”

In the “Format Cells” window, choose the “Number Tab.” Select “Number,” and set the decimal places to “0.” This will round your number.
