Trainings for EYP Trainers (T4ET) are an integral element to the development of

the organisation, contributing to the development of our active members and

ultimately assisting the enhancement of their educational experience, increasing

the quality of events and strengthening EYP as a training-based organisation.

T4ETs invite experienced active EYPers for a long residential training to learn how to competently and

confidently plan, run and evaluate a training course in EYP.

Participants will:

Gain a profound understanding on how groups function;

Discover the underlying causational themes of behaviour;

Learn advanced group leading techniques (chairing/facilitation);

Practice strategic use of teambuilding exercises;

Explore how to enable personal growth in one’s team and its individuals;

Investigate learning styles and preferences and how to adapt to them;

Creatively approach new and existing training and facilitation methods;

Practice their leadership, training and chairing competences through self-reflection and feedback

from experienced co-participants and trainers.

We are looking for experienced active EYPers who are interested and motivated to become (better) trainers.

The event is designed for EYPers who are not only eager to learn how to run professional trainings, but who

are also determined and excited to deliver such courses after T4ET.

2016 will see two T4ETs in Greece (in/around Athens, 22 - 27 August 2016) and in Armenia, (Aghveran, 30

September - 05 October 2016). With two events, T4ETs will give the chance to all experienced active EYPers to

apply directly (for the Greek event), while also reserving the possibility to NCs to nominate applicants (for the

Armenian training). The trainers for both events will be announced soon.

T4ET in Greece

22 - 27 August 2016, in/around Athens: Open call for applicants!

For this T4ET, all interested EYPers can apply directly. The event will gather 25 participants and 5 trainers.

While there is no participation fee, the organising team cannot guarantee at this point travel reimbursement

for participants.

All EYPers who are passionate about and experienced in trainings are invited to apply by filling in the

application form by 4 July 2016 at 23h59 CET.

T4ET in Armenia

30.09 - 05.10.2016, Aghveran - NCs nominate their active members!

We are calling on all EYP National Committees to nominate 1-3 people from their NC to be trainees at this

event. If you have experienced active member, who are motivated to become trainers and are interested in

learning and then delivering professional training courses, please nominate your members through this online

form by 4 July 2016 at 23h59. By nominating someone from your NC you indicate a commitment that this

person is available and motivated to join the event. Nominees will then be asked to fill in the application form

(link) by 10 July 2016 to enable the Selection Panel to reach its conclusions.

The event will gather 30 participants and 5 - 6 trainers. There is no participation fee and trainees will receive

travel reimbursement of up to 300 euros.

For both events, the trainers’ team, acting as Selection Panel, will take into account mostly candidates’

motivation and willingness to carry out training courses in EYP, as well as previous experience and regional

balance. Should the trainers’ team not be completed by the deadline for applications to be submitted, the

Head Trainer, Head Organiser(s) and a member of the Training and Alumni Development Council will act as

Selection Panel.
