Caughey, '20-'22, Oklahoma City druggist, died August 8 in Oklahoma City fol- lowing a long illness . He was 44 years old . A native of Reading, England, Mr. Caughey came to the United States at the age of 14 and lived first at Pawnee, moving to Oklahoma City later . He was the owner of the Northeast Pharmacy there . Survivors include his wife, Mrs . Ruth Caughey, a son John, and a daughter Barbara . Mrs . Ann Montgomery Breeden, '226a, Okla- homa City, was appointed a history teacher at Carrizozo, New Mexico . Mrs . Breeden formerly taught near Kingfisher . -1923- Bradford M . Risinger, '23ba, Sand Springs at- torney, has been appointed assistant county at- torney of Tulsa County to assist Dixie Gilmer, '241aw, county attorney . Mr . Risinger formerly was Tulsa city clerk and in 1936 was manager of the county Democratic headquarters, direct- ing the county, state and national campaigns in Tulsa County. Walter B . Emery, '34law, is the author of an article Verbal Warfare recently published in the Quarterly Journal of Speech . The article dis- cusses Dr . Goebbel's propaganda technique and the United States' method of dealing with it. Dr . Emery describes the work of the Foreign Broad- cast Intelligence Service of the Federal Communi- cations Commission in recording and analyzing Axis propaganda broadcasts . When the enemy lies, as he often does, Dr . Emery wrote, or when he shifts his strategic line and emphasis, or when he reports one story to this country and the exact opposite to another, there is a basis for deductions which have military value . He was formerly on the faculty of Southwestern Texas State Teachers College in San Marcos . -1937- CAHILL-ADAMS : Miss Marjorie L. Cahill, '37nurse, Guthrie, lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps, and Lt. Ralph C . Adams, Sapulpa, U. S . Navy, were married on July 6 in England, where both have been stationed for the last year . THIS YEAR'S Texas-Oklahoma game promises to be a hard-fought

contest full of surprises and spectacular plays, with Snorter Luster's

Big Six Conference winning Sooners competing against Texas' South-

west Conference and Cotton Bowl champions. Tickets for the Dallas

game can be secured from the Ticket Office, Athletic Department, Uni-

versity of Oklahoma, or at Veazey's Drug Store No . 1 in Oklahoma City .

ON OCTOBER 28 the Sooners will meet Texas Christian in a night

fathers of University students from all over the state who will be in
