Your child’s first camp experience is a special one!Our Y’s Kidz day camp has been specially designed with our youngest campers in mind to provide a safe environment for children to play, grow, learn new skills, and have plenty of new experiences and socialization with their peers. Days are filled with fun and stimulating activities, including swim lessons taught by the Y’s Aquatic staff, games, theme days, art projects and special guest visitors like a Mermaid or exotic animals. Parents will feel connected to their children’s camp experience through our daily letter updates sent home with each child.*Please note: Children must be toilet trained to attend.

Y’S KIDZ CAMP-PRESCHOOL AGES 3-KINDERGARTEN

Building confidence by accomplishing goals! Camp, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. Few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social and educational activities. Our camps teach self-reliance and the development of attitudes and practices that build character and leadership, amidst the fun of sports, art, games, outdoor adventure, water activities and meaningful relationships. Plus, our specialized instructors in STEM, arts and crafts, swim, and sports are dedicated to making sure camp is an amazing experience for every camper.

CAMP PAMACKA 1ST THROUGH 6TH GRADES

Teaching teens the value of teamwork and community service! The Leader-in-Training program will teach teens the value of teamwork while participating in several team building activities. Campers will be given opportunities to participate in service projects that leave a lasting impact on their camp and the local community. This is a great transitional program for teens which allows them to still participate in several traditional camp activities, including trips.

LEADER-IN-TRAINING PROGRAM GRADES 7-8

Learn the skills necessary to become a successful camp counselor! This hands on Counselors-in-Training program is intended to provide teens with the opportunity to learn the basic responsibilities of being a camp counselor in a supportive environment. This program provides the perfect mix of experiential learning, leadership and fun for a memorable summer. Specialty workshops and team building exercises help build skills such as collaboration, effective teamwork, public speaking and understanding stages of youth development.
