Schmidt II Born in San Antonio, Texas, I came to Denver from Corpus Christi, Texas, gulf coast area, where I graduated from Corpus Christi State University with a degree in Business. I owned and operated a resort and had a successful tax and accounting practice in Corpus Christi and Port Aransas, Texas. On December 4, 2001, I purchased the Capitol Hill Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn. I felt that Denver area offered me an exciting opportunity to provide superior guest service in a unique and special historical 1891 mansion located on the corner of Pennsylvania and 12th Street. This Victorian mansion has earned a spot on national and state registers of historic places, and it has earned the highest award given by the American Bed & Breakfast Association.
