Carbon FootprintGreenhouse gas emissions, in terms of CO2equivalents (CO2e), have beenquantified for the whole life cycle: from raw materials extraction to the lifts endof life, throughout on-site installation and the use phase (estimated to be 25years long).

ResponsibilityMeasuring a products Carbon Footprint shows transparency and a responsiblebehaviour towards all stakeholders. Most importantly, it is a useful means to identifypotential inefficiencies throughout the products life cycle. It is therefore the startingpoint to implement initiatives aimed at adopting best practice and improvingsustainable consumption, of energy and any other resources.

Initiatives identified to improve energy efficiency and reduce GHG emissions

• LED lighting:already implemented• Shortening of distance with suppliers (zero km):already implemented• Installation of regenerative inverter (on order): 30% reduction of electricity

consumption during use phase; 15% reduction of life cycle Carbon Footprint.

CertificationEPlanets Carbon Footprint has undergone a Critical Review by IMQexperts, and the environmental claim of Carbon Footprint has beenIMQeco certified (www.imq.it).
