CSSCA’s Purpose & Mission

Purpose –

To service students in need of credit recovery and students identified as at-risk.

Mission –

To provide students with an expanded array of options and additional supports.

To promote successful high school completion.

To equip students with the necessary skills for success in education and employment.

Credit Recovery11th Grade – Students in need of 6.5 - 8 credits

are candidates for CSSCA.

10th Grade – Student with less than 10 credits are candidates for CSSCA.

9th Grade – Students with less than 4 credits are candidates for CSSCA.

Currently, 74% of CSSCA’s students are scheduled based on this designation.

At-riskStudents struggling with attendance issues.

Students with anxiety or social issues.

Students transitioning back from a placement or charter school.

Students with school phobia or trouble adjusting to a “big school” environment.

Currently, 26% of CSSCA’s students are scheduled based on this designation.

Pathways to Graduation100% (53) of CSSCA’s students are on pace to

graduate with their age-appropriate peers if they successfully complete their remaining course work.

60% (14) of CSSCA’s current 10th and 11th grades students could return to WTHS for the 2014-15 school year if they successfully complete their remaining 2013-14 course work.

Two (13th year) students have graduated since the onset of the 2013-14 school year.
