Change Your Personality
Become Self Aware
Dr John Bergman
“Change your personality and you change
your personal reality” Dr Joe Dispenza
Memorizing emotions = living in the past
There must be a pony in
here somewhere
Experiences that we have shapes the way
the brain is structured
Thinking and feeling = emotion is a
chemical change in your body
Ancient Proverb:
If you meet 3 jerks in
a day then you are
the jerk!

Neurons produce these Chemical changes

Neuroplasticity
Mindful = intentionally
aware of experiences
has they are unfolding
•How are or have you been educated to think
•Have you been educated to connect to your needs
Depressed or sad do you judge your self for being depressed
“I am a failure,
I am not motivated,
I am stupid,
I am not respected”
Thousands of Years of training
34 yo woman depressed 10 years 70 yo woman depressed 30 years
Years of Thought/feeling + Chemical Production=
Emotion + Body response
What is Your Diagnosis? What Chemical does that generate?
Metacognitive = “Thinking how you Think”
1. Person knowledge which is understanding one's own capabilities.
2. Task knowledge which is how one perceives the difficulty of a task which is
the content, length, and the type of assignment.
3. Strategic knowledge which is one's own capability for using strategies to
learn information.
•Consciousness
•awareness
•self-awareness
•maximize one's potential to think,
•ethical/moral rules
Metacognition variously refers to the study of memory-
monitoring and self-regulation, meta-reasoning,

Mindfulness practice leads to increases in regional brain gray matter
density
The results suggest that participation in Mindfulness-Based Stress
Reduction (MBSR) is associated with changes in gray matter concentration
in brain regions involved in learning and memory processes, emotion
regulation, self-referential processing, and perspective taking
Neuroplasticity
Environment and brain plasticity:
towards an endogenous pharmacotherapy.Physiol Rev. 2014 Jan
Brain plasticity refers to the remarkable property of cerebral
neurons to change their structure and function in response to
experience
…how changes at the level of neuronal properties can ultimately
affect and direct key perceptual and behavioral outputs.
…striking ability of environmental enrichment and physical
exercise to empower adult brain plasticity.
Endogenous substances are those that originate from within an organism, tissue, or
cellPharmacotherapy is the treatment of disease through the administration of drugs
Criticism Blame Judgment are just a way to say Please
My brother blames me for making him angry
With NVC you will never hear Criticism Blame Judgment
You will hear only Please or Thank You

In conclusion, oxidant/antioxidant balances were changed in
fibromyalgia. Increased free radical levels may be responsible
for the development of fibromyalgia. These findings may
support the hypothesis of fibromyalgia as an oxidative disorder.

Free radicals and antioxidants in primary fibromyalgia:
an oxidative stress disorder?
Fibromyalgia = Oxidative Stress Disorder
Observation: description of “what’s actually happening” as reported by our senses
The highest form of human intelligence. “To observe without judgment”
•sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell
•“inner” senses = our inner voice, vision, thoughts
• “Just the facts.”
Observation vs. Observation Mixed with Evaluation
“Your too sensitive” , “Your judgmental”
good~bad, right~wrong, appropriate~inappropriate
“Can you tell me what you think is the challenge you have in communication”
•YEAH HE HAS A BIG MOUTH
•HE TALKS TO MUCH/TO LITTLE
“A Memory with out the emotional charge is
called wisdom… “ Dr Joe Dispenza
NVC Non-Violent Communication
Observation = what do you actually see/hear/happened
(without judgment)
Feelings = What you feel (only your feelings)
Needs = clear and concise (Not feeling better)
Request = Clear (and be ok with a "no" answer)
“A Memory with out the emotional charge is
called wisdom… “ Dr Joe Dispenza
“I’m Feeling” = a ChemicalBehind Every Feeling there is a NEED
•“are you feeling sad because your needing… to be understood
•“are you feeling angry because your needing… to be heard
•“are you feeling frustrated because your needing…connection

Abundance” Gods wealth is circulating in my life and flows to me in avalanches of abundance, all of my needs desires and goals are met instantly by infinite intelligence. For I am one with God and God is everything” Now imagine the abundance in your life and feel grateful, and the feelings that the abundance gives
•The hippocampus shrinks in late adulthood
•leading to impaired memory and increased risk for dementia
•Hippocampal and medial temporal lobe volumes are larger in
higher-fit adults
•findings indicate that aerobic exercise training is effective at
reversing hippocampal volume loss in late adulthood…
Exercise training increases size of hippocampus and
improves memory

MSG and Depression
Researchers have also discovered that most people with
major depressive disease (MDD) have higher levels of the
neurotransmitter glutamate in their spinal fluid (CSF) and
blood plasma.
This is the same glutamate found as a food additive-for
example, MSG (monosodium glutamate), hydrolyzed
proteins, calcium or sodium casienate, soy protein
isolate, vegetable protein concentrate or isolate, etc.
Free glutamate, that is, existing outside the neurons, is very
toxic to brain connections and brain cells themselves --
mainly by a process called excitotoxicity.
Vaccine-related brain injury
Vaccines are made of two components -- the agent you
wish to vaccinate against and an immune adjuvant.
These adjuvants are composed of such things as
aluminum compounds, MSG, lipid compounds and
even mercury.
Studies have shown that these adjuvants, from a single
vaccine, can cause immune overactivation
**No studies show the effects of the hyper-
sensatization of the immune system to yearly flu
shots from 6 months for life
Vaccines, Depression and Neurodegeneration After Age 50:
Another Reason to Avoid the Recommended Vaccines.
By Russell L. Blaylock, M.D., CCN
40 million Americans suffer from major depressive disorder
anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder,
•chronic brain inflammation.
•MSG on your brain and mood
•connections between pesticides and neurological disorders
•vaccinations cause brain inflammation
•impact of an expanding vaccine schedule
Current recommendations by the CDC for adult
vaccinations include a total of 14 separate inoculations with
infectious agents and powerful immune adjuvants.
Researchers at Harvard, Yale, and the M.I.T.
first evidence that meditation can alter the physical
structure of our brains
“Our data suggest that meditation practice can promote cortical plasticity in
adults in areas important for cognitive and emotional processing and well-
being,”
“These findings are consistent with other studies that demonstrated increased
thickness of:
• music areas in the brains of musicians
•visual and motor areas in the brains of jugglers
In other words, the structure of an adult brain can change in response to
repeated practice.”
