The Right to FlushAll lots described as “The Right to Flush” will carry the following guarantee unless otherwise stated in this catalog. In all cases, a minimum of six (6) transferrable embryos is guaranteed to the buyer. In the event of the cow failing to produce the minimum amount of embryos, the buyer will have the option of flushing the cow again until the minimum, and only the minimum number of embryos has been fulfilled or the buyer may elect to have their money returned to them based on a prorated price determined by the auction price of the flush. In all cases the buyer will assume all expenses of the flush. The location of and the techni-cian used will be the choice of the seller and will be made known in the catalog or on the supplement sheet. The buyer will have the right to flush the female as soon as she is available or according to the terms of the specific lot. 50% of the auction price is due sale day and the balance being paid upon completion of the flush and before the buyer receives their embryos.
Embryo PackagesAll embryos are grade one unless otherwise stated and are fully guaranteed to consist of their respective mating. Due to the nature of this event and the wide range of geographical locations of the buyers and the sellers involved, no guarantee can be made as to concep-tion rate realized when using these embryos. However, if the buyer uses an embryo technician that is agreed upon by the buyer and the seller then one 90 day pregnancy is guaranteed per 3 eggs unless otherwise stated in this catalog. In all cases the buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and expenses involved.
Pregnant recipientsIn the case of already realized pregnancies (i.e. embryos that have already been implanted and confirmed pregnant) the buyer will pay 100% of the auction price immediately following the sale. Each of these recipient females have been examined for pregnancy by a qualified technician and are fully guaranteed to be carrying the mat-ing described in that lot. These cattle will sell without further guaran-tee. All sexed pregnancies are guaranteed to be carrying the calf sex as determined in the catalog or selected by the buyer. No guarantee, expressed or implied, is made as to a live calf, calf quality or recipi-ent value. In all cases transportation will be the responsibility and at the expense of the buyer in cooperation with the seller.
SemenAll semen is guaranteed to be of acceptable quality but no guarantee is made as to conception rate. The buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and all expenses involved with shipping.
DisclaimerNeither the sale manager, auctioneer, N.A.I.L.E. or other personnel are responsible for accidents that may occur. The American Chiani-na Assoc. acts only as a medium between the buyer and seller and are not to be held responsible financially or otherwise. The American Chianina Assoc. does not assume the responsibility to collect or enforce the collection of monies between the buyer and seller. All information in this sale book is assumed to be correct based upon the information given to us by the sellers.
It is hard to believe but we are deep in the middle of what may be the best sale season I have ever seen in my career! Across the country cattle are bringing unheard of prices and the sale averages as a whole have been phenomenal. This is a great time in the cattle business indeed!
There were several success stories from last year’s sale including the Reserve Grand Champion Chiangus Female at the 2012 Junior National Heifer Show, which was shown by Hannah Winegardner and purchased in last year’s sale. Once again this year we feature several live lots and an array of breed changing genetics from some of our breed’s very best breeders. We have put together a nice blend of Chiangus and Chimaine lots for your appraisal.
Sale videos will be available for viewing the week before the NAILE and as always, the cattle are available at the consignor’s farm for viewing by appointment. All live sale cattle will be on display at the NAILE as well.
Please feel free to contact myself or any of the consignors with any questions you may have. See you all in Louisville!
Best Wishes, Tyler

Fresh off one of the most prestigious show careers of any female,
BMS Xcellance is highlighting the Chianina National Sale and a flush
is being offered. Study this opportunity hard as this may be the only
time this chance comes along. Over the last year and a half Xcellance
was named Reserve Grand Champion Chiangus Female at the 2011
NJHS in Kansas City, Grand Champion Chiangus Female at the 2011
NAILE Jr. Show, Reserve Grand Champion Chiangus Female at the
2011 NAILE Open Show, Reserve Grand Champion Chiangus Female
at the 2012 Ft. Worth Stock Show Jr. Show and finished her show
career strong being named the Grand Champion Chiangus Female
at the 2012 NJHS in Lima, OH. Xcellance has since gave birth to her
first calf and has done everything perfect and looks phenomenal and
that is why a flush is being offered. Serious cattlemen of any breed will
appreciate this amazing beast!

What an opportunity to select your favorite from this pair
of flush sisters from Higgins Farms. Sired by the ever
popular Plainview Lutton “Lut” E102 whose progeny have
been dominant Chiangus champions. Their dam is perhaps
our most exciting young female in terms of production and
pedigree. Told Ya So is the Destiny’s Ace- sired maternal
sister to HIGG Remedy whose progeny have demanded the
attention of many astute cattlemen across the nation. These
females not only share a pedigree similar to numerous past
champions but offer the phenotype of big time show heifers
and elite donor cows. We feel as though these are absolutely
two of the best females we’ve ever produced and only at the
National Sale could this opportunity present itself!

Michelle carries 3 generations of APS breeding. This exciting first time entry to

It is again an exciting opportunity to offer the genetics of the prolific 503 donor. She is
becoming an absolute lock in terms of producing consistent quality. Consider her track
record. Out of the gates she produced the popular Northern Improvement son for $8,250,
selling in the Dakota Gold sale to Pearson Cattle Company. On two flushes to date she
has produced 26 and 17 eggs, respectively, then bred back up and still calved on time.
The mating to Monopoly resulted in a high-selling steer to Todd Caldwell out of the All-
Star Alliance sale in South Dakota. Last year in this very sale we offered a pregnancy
by Monopoly and that resulting calf sold for $7,000 in Holt Bros. pasture sale and a full
brother sold for $11,500. If that’s not enough for you, her predictable donor mother, FBF
MS Mail Me 055 has been a cash flow machine for the crew at Bushy Park Farms. Her
unique style, substance, and overall phenotypic quality will no doubt “click” with current

Al & Shirley Anthony of Stephenville, TX have graciously donated their entire
inventory of semen, embryos and tanks to the American Chianina Association
Foundation to be sold with the proceeds to benefit education, youth and
research. We have selected a few items to be offered in the National Sale
and they are listed at right. The items listed have been cared for with the most
diligence and examined and believed to be suitable for breeding and transplant.
With that being said, the semen and embryos sell with no further guarantee due
to the fact that there is nothing to replace them with.
