The environment is one of our core concerns. Our BePulp product is made from fibre residue of plant origin - a natural and renewable material. We use recycled PET, sort 100% of our own production waste, use green energy and invest in production tools that use less energy.

Sabert BePulp Sustainable Solutions are a range of innovative and compostable products of plant origin. Sabert BePulp is the better choice in sustainable packaging as it combines sustainable design with exceptional performance, using pulp that comes from fibres of plant origin, natural materials which are both abundant and renewable. The entire range offers many practical options and is certified for composting according to regulation EN13432.

Our sustainable packaging is table-ready and designed to withstand any condition, from freezers to ovens.

Sabert manufactures both the bases and lids, ensuring optimal lid fit and leak resistance.

NATURAL PULP & LAMINATED PULPSabert BePulp Sustainable Solutions are made using pulp that comes from fibres of plant origin, natural material which is both abundant and renewable and which was intended for waste. As an example Sabert use sugar cane bagasse coming from the sugarcane plant which is left over from the extraction of cane juice. Sugarcane is a renewable raw material which regrows up to three times a year.

Natural pulp solutions are best suited for ultra fresh, up to 2 days storage and transportation. Natural Pulp is home compostable meaning that up to minimum 90% disintegrates in 120 days at a temperature of 25°C.

For an extended shelf life we recommend using laminated pulp solutions. PLA lamination, based on starch, is made from natural, plant based and renewable resource. Laminated Pulp is OK compostable: it disintegrates up to minimum 90% in 120 days at temperature of 65°C.

CPLA COMPOSTABLE CUTLERYCPLA (Cristallized Poly Lactid Acid) is made from biosourced material derived from plant annually renewable, such as corn starch. CPLA is 100% ok compostable: it disintegrates up to minimum 90% in 120 days at temperature of 65°C. Sabert BePulp CPLA cutlery has an excellent sturdiness. It is suitable for cold & warm Foods: works well for hot food and liquid and resists at temperatures up to 85°C.
