Current Assessment

• 150 Groups / Departments to be Migrated = 450 hours– 3 hours per group to coordinate with users, analyze / clean up folders and user access and

asset migration, manual assign users to MCS roles• 2,977 users

• Metadata Mapping = ~200 hours– 593 Metadata Fields and 5,380 Look Up Values to be mapped to single schema– 1 minute per field and look up value for simple mapping– 10 minutes for 10% of fields for business logic / development required mappings

• Assumptions– SPE User IDs will be mapped to an MCS User ID– Folders IDs will be mapped to an MCS Asset Filter

• 68,219 folders– Workgroup to Folder IDs will be provided by SPE

• MCS will programmatically assign folder filters to filter groups– 2,085 workgroups

– DMG will create new roles and assign to users manually– Hot folder will be available to post assets and metadata to

• Feature Dependencies– Migration timeline will be dependent upon cineSHARE features being available in MCS– The following slides list out which features are needed in MCS to migrate the corresponding
