1.To gather the opinion of the farmers (men and women both) consumers and technicians in the selection of possible new promising clones as varieties.
2. To characterize the preferences that exist in the different regions.
3.To validate a semi-structured methodology with the M&B design in order to be able to systematically compare results between sites and different years.

Considering farmers choice on vegetative stage evaluation, organoleptic test, yield performance and storability evaluation, there were five CIP clones namely were selected for advanced yield trial (AYT) in next year.
