Phase: 1 - 2014 South Africa: D’urban & Jozi

WHAT ?

It is an A5, 42 page, FREE, quarterly, lifestyle publication that serves as a “wise friend” to

young black women in SA & eventually across the African continent. It offers advice, adverts &

unbiased reviews on value brands that women will encounter as they earn more money.

Topics covered include life skills, advice on financial planning, education, careers, health & of course hair !

*Hair is the biggest concern for most black women – we offer extensive hair advice.

It also offers discount vouchers & competitions to the reader to help with her monthly expenses.

WHY ?

- Times are tough for young black women & many are pushed into desperate situations

*(sugar daddies, teen pregnancies, parents dying of HIV, etc)

- Women are the future & the more we educate, help & empower the better our society will be
