This document lists community resources by key health topics to assist Health Department staff,
community partners, stakeholders, and service providers to link families and individuals to services
and resources they need to live healthy, productive lives. The list is updated annually and upon
receipt of new information from the community. The list of resources was compiled during the development
of the Community Health Assessment (CHA) and was used by the Community Health Improvement
Plan (CHIP) Task Force in identifying key strategies, resources and partners that can be harnessed to
improve the health and quality of life of Long Beach residents.

Is a professional organization

directors. Our members are
responsible for the administration of a

public health and indigent health policy
issues, and to recommend to
appropriate levels of local and state

CHEAC also provides our members an
