CLAT 2018 : Form Filling Guidelines

Important Instructions

Before you start with Application Process, Keep the following Documents

ready for upload:

• Front facing passport size recent photograph (Dimension: 200 x 230 pixels

| Size: 20 to 50 KB)

• Signature of the candidate(Dimensions: 140 x 60 pixels |Size: 10 to 20 KB)

• The scanned copy of the certificate in PDF format issued by the competent

authority to support the claim of Specially Abled Persons (SAP).

N.B.:

• The applicant should sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.

• The image files (Photo & Signature) should be in JPG or JPEG format

• The Signature will be used to put on the application, admit card and

wherever necessary. In case of mismatch, the candidate may be

disqualified.

Registration number and Password will be sent. Use this Provisional

Registration Number and Password to log in to fill the Online Application.

Step 2: Filling up Application Form – NLU Preference

The basis of allotment of seats shall be 'merit-cum-preference', i.e., the CLAT Rank, the

order of preference given by the candidate and the category / categories selected by

the candidate in the online application form and the number of seats and their

division/break-up as available in each of the participating NLU. Hence this section

should be filled with utmost care.
