  • PRATHAM Notice PRATHAM will assist students & parents in form filling by providing Form Filling

    PPT & recordings however the onus & responsibility of filling the form correctly and before the last date of the application lies solely with Student and Parent.

    Parents are requested not to share any personal details with any PRATHAM employee to fill the student application forms. If shared PRATHAM will not be held responsible in case of incorrect form filling/ incorrect course/program selected or delay in submission of forms.

    All Parents and Students are requested to save a copy of the Application Form filled by them and ensure to save the application User ID and Password in PRATHAM FORM WALLET (add link too) after each form filled.

    Students and Parents are requested to track the last date of University applications as they are subject to change.

    You are requested to go through the University Bulletin thoroughly before filling any University Application Form.

  • Instructions for UG Programme

    The CLAT 2021 examination will be held in OFFLINE mode.

    The applications have to be submitted ONLINE only from consortiumofnlus.ac.in website.

    The date of examination as scheduled is 9th May 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM (Subject to revision in case of necessity)

    Indian Nationals/NRIs/PIO/OCI seeking admission in either of the UG programmes shall appear in CLAT 2021.

    Information regarding the details of intake, reservation policies and the courses offered along with the fee structures of various participating National Law Universities is available in the Information Brochure which can be accessed from the official website of CLAT and also from the websites of the participating NLUs. The candidates are, therefore, advised to thoroughly go through the rules, policies and the fee structure of the participating NLUs before filling in the application form for UG courses, and also for the NRI and Foreign National seats.

    Candidates are advised to visit CLAT 2021 website regularly for updates. The allotment of seats and the offer for admission under CLAT 2021 shall be provisional and shall not create any right of admission in favour of a candidate.

    The online enrolment for CLAT 2021 will open on 1st January 2021 and close on 31 March, 2021.

    Updates to application form will be not be entertained after the closure date.

    The candidate shall fill his/her preference order for all 22 NLUs after the results are declared.

    The CLAT 2021 application fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable.

    The Admit Card/Hall ticket can be downloaded by the candidate by logging into his/her account. The exact date on which the hall tickets will be made available will be intimated on the website.

  • UG Eligibility There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT 2021.

    As regards minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination), the candidates must have secured:

    Forty five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories

    Forty Percent (40%) marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

    Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April, 2021 are also eligible to appear in CLAT 2021 examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.

    The result of the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.

    In case of equal marks, the break of tie shall be by the following procedure and order as under:

    Higher marks in the component / section on legal aptitude in the CLAT 2021 exam;

    Higher age;

    Computerized draw of lots.

  • NRI QUOTA & No. of SEATS NRI SEATS AS ON 30th December, 2020

    NLS Bangalore- None

    NALSAR HYDERABAD- 24 (twenty four) seats are allocated to Foreign Nationals for the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) course out of which 04 (four) seats are for candidates from SAARC Countries; 10 (ten) seats for candidates from non-SAARC Countries and 10 (ten) seats for ICCR / Government of India nominees.

    12 (twelve) seats are allocated to Foreign Nationals for the LL.M course out of which 04 (four) seats are for candidates from SAARC Countries; 04 (four) seats for candidates from non-SAARC Countries and 04 (four) seats for ICCR / Government of India nominees.

    The candidates who possess citizenship of a country other than India shall only be considered under this Category. Foreign Nationals, need not take CLAT-2020 and should apply directly to NALSAR.

    Note : The vacant seats of ICCR / Govt. of India Nominees and the SAARC shall be offered to the candidates from Non-SAARC Countries. If there are vacant seats in the Non-SAARC category, they may be offered to SAARC Countries, if candidates are available. If sufficient candidates are not available under Foreign National Category, University may invite fresh applications till the closure of admissions and the seats may be filled as per merit.

  • NRI QUOTA & No. of SEATS NLIU BHOPAL- 18 Seats

    An NRI/OCI Card Holder/PIO Card Holder himself or herself, OR Sponsored by a First Degree Blood Relation or Second Degree Blood relation who is an NRI/OCI Card Holder/PIO Card

    Holder. Only those will be eligible who have given option as an NRI/NRI sponsored in the CLAT application form.

    NUJS KOLKATA- 18 Seats for NRI Category

    2 seats for Foreign Nationals NLU JODHPUR- 16 SEATS

    The University reserves the right to cancel the admission of any candidate in accordance with the Rules. In case of admission under NRI/NRIs sponsored category, a candidate has to apply as a NRI/NRIs sponsored candidate in the CLAT form. After publication of CLAT-2021 result, CLAT-2021 Office will publish the merit list of NRI/NRIs sponsored candidates and from that merit list applications shall be invited for admission which shall be made strictly based on aforesaid merit list.

    HNLU RAIPUR- NRI-8 SEATS

    Foreign National- 2 seats The candidates seeking admission under the Foreign National category will be required to apply directly to HNLU as

    per Admission Notification to be posted on the University website in May 2021. However, the candidates seeking admission under the NRI category and Supernumerary seats for the Wards of Kashmiri Migrants & Students from Jammu & Kashmir will have to apply for and appear in CLAT- 2021 under the respective categories. After the publication of CLAT-2021 Result, the interested and eligible candidates applied for and appeared in CLAT-2021 under the NRI and Supernumerary seats for the Wards of Kashmiri Migrants and Students from Jammu & Kashmir will be required to apply to HNLU in the prescribed format to be posted on the university website in the first week of May 2021 with their CLAT Score/Rank and other required information and documents.

  • NRI QUOTA & No. of SEATS GNLU GANDHINAGAR-: NRI SEATS- 18 Seats

    Foreign National- 6 Seats

    Apart from the CLAT form, interested candidates under this category are required to fill separate expression of interest form. The separate notification shall be announced in the GNLU website and direct admission will be undertaken on basis of applications received by using the CLAT ranking. For detailed selection process, candidates are required to refer the notification. NRI category seats are available to NRI candidates or Indian nationals sponsored by NRI as per the Supreme Court Guidelines. Foreign National category seats are available to Foreign Nationals only i.e. candidates with foreign citizenship. Candidates seeking admission under the Foreign National category are not required to appear in the CLAT and shall apply directly to the University. Interested candidates are required to refer the GNLU Website for further more details. No transfer of candidates once admitted under NRI and Foreign National category to any another category. Unfilled seats of any category, if any, shall be filled, as per the decision of GNLU Executive Council.

    RMLNLU, LUCKNOW-: Foreign National/ NRI/ NRI Sponsored-: 16 Seats

    The Candidates seeking admission against these seats will be required to apply directly to the University in the prescribed format along with the supporting documents as per the notification to be placed on the University Website. CLAT merit will be used for the admission to NRI/ NRI Sponsored Category. Foreign Nationals, need not take CLAT-2021 and should apply directly to Dr. RMLNLU, Lucknow.

    Considering Orissa High Court decision the number of seats under NRI Sponsored Candidates may vary after the decision of the Governing Body of the University.

    RGNUL PATIALA-: Foreign Nationals- 5 seats/ NRI- 5 Seats

    Candidates applying in NRI Category shall be required to appear in CLAT whereas Foreign National candidates are not required to appear in CLAT. All Foreign National and 'Non Resident Indian' candidates must apply directly to the Registrar, RGNUL, Punjab in prescribed admission form (available in RGNUL prospectus and also at RGNUL website) along with the demand draft of 2500/- in favour of the Registrar, RGNUL, payable at Patiala. The candidates shall also enclose supporting documents regarding qualification, proof of age, NRI status (in case of NRI category) and a copy of the passport (in case of Foreign National). These candidates are to apply latest by 31st May, 2021.

  • UG SYLLABUS & GUIDE

    The UG-CLAT 2021 would focus on evaluating the comprehension and reasoning skills and abilities of candidates. Overall, it is designed to be a test of aptitude and skills that are necessary for a legal education rather than prior knowledge, though prior knowledge occasionally may be useful to respond to questions in the Current Affairs section.

    The UG-CLAT 2021 shall be a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each. There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. These questions would be divided across the following 5 subjects:

    English Language

    Current Affairs, including General Knowledge

    Legal Reasoning

    Logical Reasoning

    Quantitative Techniques
