“I’m an artist“ es un curso dividido en seis niveles. Un método para escuelas con proyecto de bilingüismo, para la asignatura de Plástica, en inglés.

“I’m an artist“ no sólo es un método para aprender a dibujar, sino que también es esencial para comprender los diferentes estilos y épocas pictóricas, conocer y saber apreciar el trabajo de grandes artistas universales, así como practicar diferentes técnicas de dibujo.

Así mismo proponemos cantidad de técnicas artísticas diversas, que harán las delicias del alumnado, como son el moldeado, la decoración con arcilla, plastilina y collage, entre otros.

A través de recursos visuales se potencia la apreciación de las formas, colores, proporciones, distribución y estilo.

“I’m an artist“ una experiencia pedagógica divertida y comunicativa, para practicar el idioma cotidiano y también el vocabulario propio de la materia.

Las unidades se centran en temas de gran interés, facilitando una progresión natural, tanto en la materia, como en el nivel lingüístico.

Teacher’s bookEl profesorado tiene todo hecho y preparado. Toda la investigación del tema está entregada, cómo dar la clase, qué tiene que decir, se incluyen todos los solucionarios. En definitiva, ¡no tienen que pasarse horas preparando la clase! Todo está preparado para que puedan impartir una clase magistral, sin conocimientos previos de arte, incluso con un nivel básico de inglés.

Se aportan también respuestas a preguntas que puedan darse en clase en base a los temas tratados. Así mismo, recuerda al profesorado lo que hará falta para la próxima clase, tanto deberes de investigación como materiales que haya que traer.

El Teacher’s Book es una herramienta imprescindible, un aliado incondicional para el profesorado.

En la tabla de contenidos se incluyen claramente los objetivos, y el material que hará falta para cada actividad, eso sí, intentaremos reciclar y utilizar las mismas cosas para diferentes actividades.

de aula de los seis niveles.

Enseñamos el uso de las diferentes técnicas: acuarela, pasteles, collage, scratching, modelar, papier maché, paper folding (papiroflexia), difuminado, sombreado, soplado, hasta técnicas avanzadas de dibujo como el hatching. Y además animamos al estudiante a trabajar, tanto individualmente, como en grupo. Diferentes actividades se repiten una y otra vez hasta que el alumnado realmente aprende a usar estos materiales y técnicas. Concretamos en los detalles a través de apartados como, how to draw an ear, a nose, an eye, etc.

Después de cambiar impresiones y recabar información de profesorado con experiencia en esta asignatura: No hacemos solo una ficha, repasamos mucho y practicamos para que el alumnado realmente aprenda a dibujar una cara o pintar un paisaje, o aprenda las reglas de las proporciones del cuerpo humano por ejemplo (plasticine, wire, drawing).

Es muy original por el enfoque que ofrecemos a la hora de mirar el arte, entender el arte y apreciar el arte. Hacer que el alumnado vea lo que hay que ver en el cuadro, lo que querían los y las artistas que viéramos. Mete al alumnado en la mente del artista. Posteriormente animamos a practicar utilizando todas estas técnicas que están empezando a conocer. Y a usar lo que aprenden en sus obras de arte. Queremos que aprendan a ser críticos de las obras de arte que vean, así como de las suyas propias…y esto sólo puede suceder a partir de la comprensión. En toda la serie presentamos muchos cuadros de la historia del arte mundial…que todos deberíamos conocer. Usamos todas las oportunidades posibles para exponer al alumnado al mundo del arte. No se ha editado nunca una serie igual. La presentación, maquetación, y encuadernación son excepcionales, así como la calidad del papel utilizado, un gramaje especial para soportar pinturas, dibujos, manipulaciones, etc...

Además, al finalizar el curso, se pueden retirar las hojas que el profesorado o el alumnado estimen oportunas, con objeto de crear un portfolio personal.

La serie fomenta la imaginación de una manera única haciendo que completen obras de arte ya conocidas.

Hacemos que el alumnado se familiarice con los artistas, estilos y corrientes artísticas más importantes de la historia. Enseñamos que todo cabe en el arte y valoramos la tolerancia. Animamos a que practiquen siguiendo estos estilos y utilizando su imaginación. Aprenden también cuales son los museos más relevantes.

Hemos utilizado ideas que sabemos que van a gustar al alumnado, por ejemplo, el enfoque de Manga con los cómics.

Muchos profesores nos han indicado que los niños y niñas estaban cansados de hacer siempre lo mismo...
