Cody Camblin grew up in Poquoson, Virginia. He earned his B.A. in Economics at Mary Washington College, in Fredericksburg, where he was a member of the Swim team as well as the Honor Council. He moved to Richmond in 2005 after finishing his M.B.A. at Old Dominion University. After gaining further work experience in the area, he took some accounting coursed to prepare for the CPA exam at Virginia Commonwealth University before going on to pass all four parts in 2013. He worked as an Accountant at Accounting Works Solutions, where he focused on Individual and Business Tax Returns during the tax season, as well as working with payroll and bookkeeping clients. Most recently, he worked at Checkright in Glen Allen, where he managed their larger bookkeeping and payroll clients, and assisted with a payroll software conversion.

His wife, Jennifer, works with children with Autism at the Faison School. They reside in the Northside with their two-year old, Wesley. When Cody is not enjoying the ups and downs of parenting a two-year-old, he enjoys mountain biking, reading, and cooking. Barry works in our Richmond office.
