The originsThe city of Saint-Maur was born in 639. It owes its name to its Abbey built for Queen Nanthild, regent for her son Clovis II.The older park is the Abbey park.

The collge le Parc is a junior high school located in Saint-Maur, with about 800 pupils aged 10 to 15 years old and 60 teachers. There are 7 classes for each grade.
