* “Service” Dogs
• REAL Service dogs must be admitted—they have been properly trained and tested by experts
• We are permitted to ask two questions: – Is this a “service dog” required because of a disability? – What is it trained to do to mitigate the disability?
• Many “certificates” are fake; there is no “official” registry; official-looking vests are sold over the internet to anyone
• Animals whose sole function is to provide emotional support, comfort, therapy, companionship, or promote emotional well-being are NOT service dogs
• If any animal behaves inappropriately or aggressively, it can be excluded or removed
