What is Web 2.0?

Web 2.0, a phrase coined by O'Reilly Media in 2003 and popularized by the first Web 2.0 conference in 2004, refers to a perceived second generation of web-based communities and hosted services which facilitate collaboration and sharing between users.

Today we will start by creating a yahoo! mail account.

Creating a yahoo! mail account opens access to many of the current 2.0 technologies available.

Flickr is an online photo storage site…..and more!

You can share photos with other people, look at the photos of others, search for photos on a topic, join a group dedicated to a certain topic, order prints online, and much more.
