TRANSERVE DATA COLLECTOR
Transerve has developed the fastest, safest and the fully customizable cloud with mobile based data
collection, storing and analytics platform for organizations which use paper, emails, spreadsheets,
expensive hardware or software to record the data and store it in files and racks. Our unique subscription
model for users on an annual basis helps the companies avoid setting up expensive IT infrastructure and
reduces their cost of paper, proprietary hardware and software; the use of which is ever increasing and
thus the cost. This product is also used by companies/organizations with projects at multiple sites and
need the updated information and reporting at a centralized location from multiple crew members on a
regular basis. This makes the data and status of the projects available to the managers in real time on
dashboards helping them to conduct resource planning and take informed decisions. The data can be
collected in the form of relational or non-relational database, spatial or non-spatial database along with
accurate coordinates, photographs and maps.

TDC provides flexibility to its users to design templates in office for market research using basic elements
to create forms for an application. The template (containing the form) then syncs with the mobile phone
running TDC Android app from where the crew collects the data in field taking location and photographs as
an option to each data set. The data collected by each user in field syncs with TDC cloud in real time. The
web administrator of the account sends the invite to only selective users for data gathering and monitor the
data collected by each user. The web service of TDC provides the flexibility to the administrator to edit or
add the fields in office or on web.

The data collected by each user will appear on the map window of the admin account and the data
download will be available in formats like .SHP, CSV and KML. The mobile application allows auto
geotagging, feature creation – polyline, polygon and points. For most of the market research data collection,
point feature will be sufficient. A “Data-Only” mode is also available while designing the template, in order
to allow users with no geotagging requirements to create survey forms.
The main advantage of using TDC is that the same application can have different forms which can be
customized as per the requirement for data collection. Our objective is to make the data collection process
smooth, faster and organized with data management to ensure the accuracy of the data collected.

templates. The data is then transferred to web application automatically which an administrator can view
and edit as per their requirement. The administrator controls the field crew from the office and guide them
if necessary actions has to be taken regarding the data collection in real time.
The data in TDC can be collected on map interface using the coordinates from GNSS receiver. TDC can also
work in RTK mode for cm level of accuracy requirement for survey grade applications.
The web version of TDC is a feature-rich solution, which eases user allocation, creation of mapping projects,
mapping forms for attribution and a web map interface for creating dynamic geospatial content. The
workflow is quite easy with the following steps:

smooth functioning. it is time for local governments to run modern cities or corporations as profitable

Transerve SmartMu is a GIS-based analytics cloud service to monitor the revenue of the local government
from taxation like property tax, utilities, trade licenses, public services etc. SmartMu has been designed to
manage the tax collection process easier, trackable and intuitive to allow the city administrators to take
informed decision at appropriate time. SmartMu uses the power of maps and analytics to compute key
performance indexes in a user defined geographic area in order to provide better citizen services. Accurate
base maps can help various stakeholders to plan things like utilities, roads, various services in an efficient

Water Resource Management is a key focus area for governments and utilities. Indeed, many factors are
impacting water resources which have direct effects on the society, economy, and environment and create
difficulties to manage water resources. Such challenges for instance are:

Taking these issues in consideration, institutions face difficulties to manage the water resources effectively

order to take sustainable decisions concerning their assets in a geographical context.
Our solution is a combination of a GIS database & development system with a customized asset management
module based on digital maps. By using cutting-edge technologies, we firstly create an accurate geospatial
database of the entire territory. The process involved surveying and mapping of all major assets and pipelines
of water supply & sewerage network.
Once the quality of the data is ensured, we develop and implement the GIS web-based Customized Asset
Management Module, an interactive platform used for viewing the base map of the project area, querying the
property details, accessing urban infrastructure and providing a GIS based user interface to the user to
visualize the data.
This interface allows nominated staff to access the existing asset database and to utilize it for operation,
maintenance & design purposes. Users are thus able to add/delete/update asset records, query and print
asset reports according to their respective system access rights. The application is also in compliance with
the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards.
This end-to-end approach now allows the water supply departments and agencies to know the water supply
& sewerage network better and to take smarter decisions concerning the provision and maintenance of the
total infrastructure for the public water supply.

The above dashboard is a part of Namakkal Sanitation application, developed for the urban local body to
analyze the condition of sanitation & FSM in the town. Data was collected and created using Transerve Data
Collector.
Case 2: Sewerage Asset Management System for SIDCGL Goa

The above screen demonstrates various web GIS layers created for sewerage system in Margao city in the
state of Goa. The user can access asset details, like manhole IL/GL etc. just by clicking the feature on map. In
this case too, the solution was generated using Transerve Data Collector.
Impact and Achievements
The ability of GIS to search information database for asset records by performing user-friendly queries has
significantly aided the Public Water Departments of a State in India (PWD) in adopting a modern system of
asset management. It has enabled PWD in asset maintenance and assisted in infrastructure planning and
realization of the full potential of all assets. By using GIS-based Asset Management Product from Transerve

antenna. The POD attachment is also coming with the unit in order to give more flexibility in constrained
