Education defines Assistive Technology as any item, piece of
equipment, or product system,
modified or customized that is used to increase,
maintain or improve the functional
capabilities of a child with a disability.

What is IDEA?
IDEA is the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, a
federal law that assures students with disabilities
receive free appropriate public
education in the least restrictive
