NOTEWORTHY EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES & FEATURES METCO - Since 1969, CCHS has participated in the Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity, Inc. (METCO). This program brings students from the city of Boston to CCHS.

RIVERS & REVOLUTIONS - An interdisciplinary, experiential program at CCHS that offers students a rich academic experience. It is truly a learning laboratory for our students and our Faculty; students learn about themselves as learners and teachers benefit from opportunities for embedded professional development in innovative practices. RUETTGERS SEMINAR - The Ruettgers Family of Carlisle, MA makes generous contributions to CCHS to encourage the creation of seminars and learning experiences that reward students with intense intellectual interests not covered in the general curriculum.

ENGINEERING CERTIFICATE - Courses give students an opportunity to investigate engineering and employ concepts to solve design problems. Certificate completion indicates that a student has taken a minimum of five electives in the fields of drawing, engineering, and technology while maintaining a high level of rigor in math and science during high school.
